When shipping inventory transfers between stores or across state and national borders, you can now issue a Packing Slip in the same format as orders directly from POS Pro. An operational improvement that reduces misalignment with the receiving side over "what was sent" and "what should arrive."

1What's changing, exactly

Until now, staff handling outgoing inventory transfers (outgoing transfer) in Shopify POS had no way to print a packing slip.
Now, from the shipment details screen in POS Pro,a Packing Slip that takes the same format as orders and optimizes it for inventory transfers can now be generated and printed directly.

This applies to the shipment details screen for outgoing transfers (the sending side). This isn't about changing the receiving side's intake process itself;the sending side can hand over paper proof that says "this is what I sent" —that's the essence of it.
