Autopilot creates a Microsoft Advertising account for you, or connects an existing one, and runs Performance Max campaigns alongside your other channels. Budget is allocated automatically based on the performance of every connected channel.
Microsoft Advertising is now available as a selectable channel in Autopilot.
Autopilot helps you create a new account, or connects an existing one. Either path gets you in.
Budget is assigned automatically based on performance across all connected channels.

Go to the growth tab in the admin. This is the entry point for Campaign Autopilot.
Campaign Autopilot is offered as early access. Sign up to get started.
Either create a new account (with Autopilot's help) or connect an existing one.
The only campaign type the announcement mentions is Performance Max. That's a different premise from running search, shopping, and other campaign types individually, so if you keep existing manual campaigns running you need to design how the two coexist (behavior when they run together is not stated).
Allocation is determined by "the performance of all connected channels."An operating model that treats per-channel budget as a KPI won't fit. What you need to watch is overall efficiency. How often allocation is updated, and the logic behind it, is not stated.
Stores already running Microsoft Advertising through an agency or in house can connect without creating a new account.Sort out where account permissions sit (who the administrator is) in advancefor a smooth transition.
The post only covers actions in the admin (the growth tab). Whether connections and metrics can be handled via the Admin GraphQL API or webhooks is not documented. If you plan to propose an automation-based setup, schedule a verification task first.
Campaign Autopilot itself is in early access.Supported countries, plans, and general availability timing are all undocumented, so avoid building long-term contracts on it. Start small as a pilot project. Design it so you can back out if the spec changes (for example, keep your own copy of the measurement data).
